it isn't in the rules anywhere, but now that i'm officially a twenty-something, the time seems right to get the ball rolling on a blog. keeping one up requires a lot of time and effort, and school tends to occupy the free time necessary to talk substantially about everything going on in the world.

fortunately, blogging technology allows me to fill that void with embarrassing pictures instead.
